Exporting your transactions

Exporting your transactions

Export your transaction data for use in spreadsheets, tax preparation, or other financial software.

How to export

  • Go to the Transactions page

  • Apply any filters you want (date range, account, category)

  • Click the "Export" button

  • Choose your export format

  • Download your file

Export formats

  • CSV - Universal format compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and most software

  • Excel - Native Excel format with formatting preserved

  • PDF - Formatted financial statement suitable for printing

A category breakdown export is also available for analyzing spending by category. Transfers between your own accounts are excluded from the category export and the PDF statement, so they do not inflate your income or spending totals.

What's included

Each transaction export includes the date, plus separate year and month columns for easy filtering and pivoting. It also includes the description, the amount in its original currency, a converted amount in your default currency (so multi-currency data adds up), the category, the account, the running balance, and any notes you've added.
