Once your budgets are set up, Finthy tracks your spending automatically and shows your progress in real-time.
Viewing budget progress
Dashboard widget - See a quick overview of all budgets on your dashboard
Budget page - View detailed progress for each budget
Progress bars - Visual indicators showing spent vs. remaining
Color coding - Green (on track), yellow (approaching limit), red (over budget)
Understanding your progress
Each budget shows:
Amount spent so far
Remaining budget
Percentage used
Days remaining in the period
Spending velocity
Open a budget to see its detail page, which includes a Spending velocity section. It shows your daily average and a projected total for the period, so you can tell whether your current pace will keep you under budget.
Managing several budgets at once
On the Budgets page you can select multiple budgets and use bulk edit to change their settings together, including rollover, alerts and the alert threshold, and whether each budget is active.
