Is my financial data secure?

Finthy takes your financial security seriously. Here is how we protect your data.

Bank Connections

We never store your bank login credentials. In countries with automatic sync, we use secure open finance APIs that use tokenized access. You authenticate directly with your bank, and we receive read-only access to transaction data.

Data Encryption

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL

  • Data is encrypted at rest in our databases

  • We use industry-standard encryption protocols

Account Security

  • Secure password requirements

  • Email verification for new accounts

  • Two-factor authentication available

  • Secure session management

Chrome Extension (Mexico)

Our Chrome Extension:

  • Only activates on supported bank websites when you click it

  • Does not store your bank credentials

  • Sends data directly to your Finthy account over HTTPS

  • You control when data is captured

Data Privacy

  • We do not sell your data to third parties

  • Your financial data is only used to provide Finthy services

  • You can export or delete your data at any time
