Differences between subscription plans
Finthy offers a Free plan and paid plans. The Free plan covers everyday personal finance use, including the calendar and email notifications; paid plans unlock multi-currency support, higher AI usage, and advanced budget features.
Free plan
Connect synced bank accounts (Plaid where available; LATAM partners and Chrome extension elsewhere).
Create manual accounts for cash and unsupported banks.
Add transactions manually, import files (CSV, PDF, Excel, OFX/QFX), and use image upload with a monthly AI quota.
Track budgets and view reports (cashflow, spending by category, net worth, trends).
Calendar & events: track recurring bills, salary, and subscriptions; match real transactions to expected occurrences.
Email notifications: opt-in email summaries that bundle budget alerts, event reminders, and match suggestions.
Locked to a single currency: the one you picked at signup.
In-app budget alerts in the budget’s currency.
Paid plans
Paid plans build on everything in the Free plan and add:
Multi-currency: change your default currency at any time, and mix any combination of currencies across accounts and budgets. Finthy converts to your default for dashboard totals.
Higher AI quotas: more image uploads per month for transaction extraction.
Advanced budget features: templates and granular alert types.
How to upgrade
Settings → Subscription, or click any upgrade prompt that appears in the app (for example, when you try to change your default currency on the Free plan). See Upgrading your Finthy plan for the full walkthrough.
