Exporting your financial data
Export your transaction data for use in spreadsheets, tax preparation, or other financial applications.
To export your data
Go to Transactions
Apply any filters you want (optional)
Click the Export button
Choose your export format
Download the file
You can export from Finthy in the web app.
Export formats available
CSV - Universal format for spreadsheets
Excel - Native Excel format with formatting
PDF - Formatted report for printing
What's included
Exports include date, description, amount, converted amount, year and month columns, category, account, and any notes or tags you've added. Transfers are excluded from category-based and PDF exports so the totals reflect your real spending.
Full account export (ZIP)
For a complete backup or data portability (GDPR), you can download all of your Finthy data as a single ZIP file.
Go to Settings > Data Export
Click Download Complete Data under Full Data Export (ZIP)
Save the ZIP file to your computer
The ZIP contains JSON files for your user profile, accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, budget alerts, budget templates, financial positions, and a summary, plus a README.
