Understanding your dashboard

The Finthy dashboard is your central hub for understanding your financial health at a glance. Here is a guide to everything you see on your dashboard.


Dashboard overview

When you log in to Finthy, the dashboard shows:

  • Total balance: Combined balance across all connected accounts

  • Recent transactions: Your most recent financial activity

  • Budget overview: Progress on your active budgets

  • Spending summary: How much you have spent this month

  • Income summary: How much you have earned this month


Financial overview cards

The top of your dashboard displays key financial metrics:

  • Net balance card: Shows your total assets minus liabilities

  • This month spending: Total outgoing transactions this month

  • This month income: Total incoming transactions this month

  • Budget status: Quick view of how your budgets are tracking


Charts and visualizations

Your dashboard includes visual representations of your finances:

  • Spending by category: Pie or bar chart showing where your money goes

  • Cash flow chart: Income vs expenses over time

  • Balance trend: How your total balance has changed


Quick actions

From the dashboard, you can quickly:

  • Add a manual transaction

  • Connect a new bank account

  • Create a new budget

  • View detailed reports


Customizing your view

The dashboard automatically updates when:

  • New transactions sync from your banks

  • You add manual transactions

  • Budget periods change
