Finthy supports 30+ currencies to accommodate users worldwide. Here is what you need to know about currency handling.

Americas

  • USD - US Dollar

  • CAD - Canadian Dollar

  • MXN - Mexican Peso

  • BRL - Brazilian Real

  • CLP - Chilean Peso

  • COP - Colombian Peso

  • ARS - Argentine Peso

Setting your default currency

Your default currency is used for:

  • Dashboard totals and summaries

  • Budget amounts

  • Reports and analytics

To change your default currency:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Find the Currency option

  3. Select your preferred currency

  4. Save changes


How currency conversion works

When you have accounts in multiple currencies:

  • Each account displays in its native currency

  • Dashboard totals convert to your default currency

  • Historical exchange rates are used for accuracy


Manual transactions

When adding manual transactions:

  1. Select the currency for the transaction

  2. Enter the amount in that currency

  3. Finthy handles the display conversion automatically


Currency display

Throughout Finthy, you will see:

  • Currency symbols (USD, CAD, MXN, etc.)

  • Proper formatting for each currency

  • Decimal places appropriate for each currency
